Enchilada in Leipzig

Contrary to my old rating, I am now giving it 4 stars. Have been there a few times since then, have also ordered and am now satisfied. However, cocktail orders still take an unusually long time, especially when you compare them with other restaurants in Leipzig.

It's a nice cocktail bar with very good transport links. I advise against the car, however, because the charges are underground and the city is usually overcrowded. The prices in general are rather high, but it is highly recommended during happy hour. You should definitely reserve a table in advance. I recommend.

Certainly not only the attentive restaurant staff was the total bestseller during my visit, but also the good ambience. The restaurant is really extremely stylish. No cheap decoration, but there was a lot of really nice color coordinated with each other. This restaurant really has the potential to become my new favorite place. My sister and I were there too together and each of us ordered something different, what concerns me , I tried a little bit of each and everything was great.

Good food, ok in price. Nice cocktail menu with a large selection. Unfortunately very noisy in the shop and long waiting times for orders.

We are visiting Leipzig and have a table reserved for Friday evening at short notice. We liked it. The service was very nice, the food was good and the price was ok. Overall a very nice evening.

The space does not tempt you to linger. The food is okay, nothing special but good. The service is very nice, but unfortunately, they probably participate in the drinks sales. With the bill we had to find out that only the most expensive drinks were recommended.

Unfortunately I cannot post so positively. We would have to wait a long time for our food and in the end it arrived cold. The drinks order when a nice waitress came to us was a long time coming. I understand that it can be stressful, but if you have to wait over three quarters of an hour for your meal, which is served cold at the end, that's not so great. I have to say it's a shame.

we were visiting Leipzig and very happy that the four of us spontaneously got a table on Friday evening. the employees were always very friendly and courteous. We liked the food very much - we've had completely different experiences with Mexicans. Data check-in and menu are currently only online - but this is due to the tense overall situation. The distances between the tables were also kept here. we would love to come back

Eating great Mexican food is no problem at Enchilada Leipzig. Friendly, very nice staff. Is almost only visited by younger semesters, which is probably due to the volume in the restaurant. But it's definitely worth a visit.

We went there spontaneously after our visit to the zoo and were very satisfied! The service was very nice and courteous and the food was delicious! Would go again!

Ate a very tasty dessert. There were also delicious cocktails that weren't on the menu. The wishes of the guests are met very well! Top ambience and friendly service! Thanks a lot for this!! Any time!!!

Friendly service, came by regularly and asked if something was missing e.g. B. Beverages. Portions are good and prices match. Cocktails taste good. Reservations are therefore very popular.

Good, 'Germanized' Mexican food. There are certainly other, more authentic options for purists, but I can't complain about the price-performance ratio and the taste as well as the general atmosphere, it's just a franchise store. We had a very friendly service and a swapped beverage order was corrected immediately. Waiting time was average. Plus point for shuffling zombies even if they weren't on the menu (anymore).

Actually a very nice restaurant ... The outdoor seating area is nice and large and invites you to linger ... but to be honest, the service was not that great, sometimes we had to wait over 45 minutes for our drinks, which is absolutely impossible ... and she was very rarely with us ... . Food was streaky .... the churros weren't the least bit tasty and very oily ... Value for money is okay ....

Only there for a few drinks during happy hour, the taste dominates over excessive alcohol, which I really appreciated. I give it only 4 out of 5 because I found the service a bit sassy. But hey, it's Saxony, the do called service-desert. And for that, the service was great.

Although it was very crowded, we didn't wait too long and were served in a friendly manner. The food was delicious too. Highly recommended! 👍

Service friendly, prices unfortunately quite high. Two people each have a burger with fries, plus a soft drink each and you are 40 euros poorer. Is a little too much.

Amazing food, fast service and nice staff. Also really nicely decorated and we got a seat even without a reservation!

The food was really very good, but what happened during the evening was amazing! The staff is very well trained to make as much profit as possible! You order shots and simply get double shots. You are constantly asked whether you would like this and that too! And the cheekiest thing I have to say, when we asked the waitress if she would be so nice and could take a picture of our group, she said "only if you order some more round shots"! We were there for happy hour and asked which cocktail she could recommend, of course she recommended the most expensive one that does not belong to happy hour! The bill was a huge surprise for us! So, dear tourists, you plan to go to the Enchilada .... take good care of your orders and check your drinks orders very well!

Super nice, attentive, friendly service! Food was delicious. All in all a great Saturday evening!

If at all possible please avoid this place.We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and when I asked the owner what was going on he pointed to the restaurant which was quite full and stated oh well No customer service what so ever and definitely did not care not acknowledge our concerns. Mind you that we waited 40 minutes just to get our drinks. I will never come back to this restaurant nor recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful place with inside as well outside sitting possibilities. The staff was super friendly. They have a Happy Hour for cocktails from 17:00 - 20:00 and our waitress came around 3 minutes before the Happy Hour ended and asked if we wanted one more drink before prices go up again which was really nice! The food was very delicious but I think the prices are a little high. I recommend making a reservation because it's a really busy place.

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was mediocre, and the organization and supply of food at the buffet was inadequate. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed in the €17/person price. Drinks aren't even included (except for black coffee). I wouldn't recommend this place.

It was perfect!!

The Restaurant was highly recommended but when we ordered they forgot our Order. After checking 1.5 hours later they still didn't bring our order. Its really sad because the staff are very friendly but it seems they can't handle so many bookings on a Saturday night!

The look and idea off the restaurant is great but recently, the quality of the food has dropped and the prices have gone up. It's really unfortunate because the drinks are great (if pricey as well) and the staff is really nice but seems overwhelmed when it's crowded (the chairs and tables are so close to one another that moving to get up can be a challenge). The music was also very loud so with a group of friends, conversations were a little difficult, maybe better with just two people. If you want to go for Mexican food in Leipzig - not this place. If you just want to go out some evening for drinks and a nacho plate with a friend - sure, why not.

It's full with people and very loud. Prices are bit spicy but they are really good. You should try their Singapore sling :D

Best Mexican food in Germany!!!!! My husband and I went there for the first time last night after a long day, being from Arizona and having had traditional Mexican food, I missed it a lot. We were not disappointed! We got the Burrito Suprimo and the Chimichanga, both of which were excellent and very filling! For drinks we got the Homemade Peach Iced Tea and a Pink Grapefruit Palamo. Presentation was very nice! The only complaint I might have about my dish is that I wish they came with more tortilla chips, but other than that, they were top!! I know there's alot of reviews complaining about the authenticity of the food, but honestly it's really darn close. It'd be hard to find more authentic Mexican food here. The icing on the cake was the Churros!! THE BEST I've ever had!! My husband and I were raving about them all night! Service was wonderful, very quick and friendly! The atmosphere of the restraunt is very night-life, which we didn't mind, although it was a bit loud for us, we still enjoyed our time and believe it is very much worthy of a five star review :)

Great for drinks especially their homemade drinks. I tried the veg platter which was okayish.

None of this food should have been actually called Mexican. Maybe for people who don't like Mexican food, it is a good alternative, but just don't come here expecting anything near authenticity. The servers, however were very nice. :)

Food, service, and prices are great. The drinks are hit or miss though.

Great food, a little on the pricey side, but it’s good enough to warrant it. I had a veggie burger and chips which were great. The staff were able to speak some English, and seemed friendly too.
